Ruismaker FM boasts a straightforward yet versatile synthesis engine that allows you to create an extensive range of sounds, from snaredrums and kickdrums to ethereal toms and experimental percussive effects.
This one-of-a-kind drumsynth plugin distinguishes itself as it relies solely on synthesis and does not use any samples. It even comes equipped with a creative Euclidean sequencer when used in standalone mode.
Packed with features, Ruismaker FM is fully AUv3 (Audio Unit) compatible, meaning seamless integration with Garageband and other AU hosts. It serves as both an audio unit instrument and a convenient tool for making music on iOS. Additionally, it supports AUv3 Multi-Out in AUM and ApeMatrix.
Each sound produced by Ruismaker FM is meticulously crafted using authentic analog and FM algorithms. The plugin comes bundled with dozens of unique and customizable sound models. With its ability to synthesize sounds in real-time, on the fly, Ruismaker FM is incredibly efficient on your CPU, enabling you to run multiple instances simultaneously. Furthermore, the plugin boasts fully automatable parameters (dependent on host support) and MIDI CC control. It even includes its own preset manager.
The standalone sequencer provided by Ruismaker FM offers a refreshing departure from traditional sequencers. You can program patterns using Euclidean algorithms and take advantage of the powerful random feature and mutation probability settings per channel. The sequencer syncs effortlessly with Ableton Link or MIDI Clock and allows you to export WAV and MIDI files. You can also utilize it flawlessly with Audiobus 3, including MIDI IN/OUT functionality. Furthermore, it supports CoreMIDI In and Out, and features AU MIDI output for on-screen pads.
